The new Hollywood flick Beezus and Ramona is ready to take you back to your childhood. I don't know about you, but Beverly Cleary's Ramona series was a staple in this A-Lister's house. The movie will re-introduce the world to Ramona Quimby, the rambunctious little girl who lives on Klickitat Street with her older sister Beezus.
While the story may sound a little juvenile to some, the industry suits have put together a stellar cast. Newcomer Joey King will play Ramona while our new favorite teen wizard Selena Gomez will take on the role of Beezus. Sex and the City's Jon Corbett will play father Bob Quimby as Tom Brady's ex-baby-mama Bridget Moynahan plays mother Dorothy. Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin is taking on Aunt Bea while Fergie's hubby Josh Duhamel will play Uncle Hobart. The star I'm most excited to see? Grey's Anatomy's Sandra Oh as Ramona's teacher, Mrs. Meacham.
The movie is expected to be released July 23, 2010.
