Madonna Gleeks Out

The queen of pop sings the praises of the GLEE cast after catching a sneak peek of the new episode she inspired, Power of Madonna. The all-Madonna episode will have McKinley High's Glee Club reinterpret Madonna's classic songs of female empowerment.

The Material Girl, 51, called the episode "brilliant," adding, "The dialogue and the entire script was genius. I completely appreciated the layers of irony, especially when all those macho boys sang 'What It Feels Like For A Girl. I also loved the fantastic performances of 'Vogue,' 'Express  Yourself' and all the messages about the boys being respectful to girls."

Madonna sings the praises of the cast, of whom both she and daughter Lourdes (Lola) are major fans. "The entire cast was amazing. They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester and Kurt Hummel's characters. Ryan Murphy did a great job bringing all these elements together," Madonna said. "Lola loved the show too. I wish I went to a high school like that...If only."

With Madonna's blessing, GLEE mania is now at an all time high. With a Lady Gaga episode in the works, GLEE shows no signs of slowing down.
