The MET Ball

Anne Hathaway looked ethereal in a Valentino dress with jewels by Bulgari 
Known as one of the most fashionable events of the year, the MET Ball brought out the biggest stars and the boldest designs. The annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit was held at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art and celebrated the opening of the "American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity exhibition. The event was hosted by Patrick Robinson of the Gap and co-hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey.
