Virgin America Toronto Launch Party

It was a big week for Canada. Aside from our national birthday and the first leg of the Queen's visit, June 29 marked Virgin America's inaugural Canadian flight. Mogul Richard Branson flew alongside rapper on a flight nicknamed Air Drizzy. After touching down in Torontotown, Branson and some A and B-List celebrities made their way to the Thompson Hotel to celebrate the new stop on Virgin's flight path. Joallore Alon, best known as @clickflickca, was at the star-studded event and is giving you A-Listers a glimpse into the party.

I was lucky enough to attend the special launch party hosted by Klout and Virgin America at the new  Thompson Hotel. Klout, a company that monitors the standards of influencers on the internet, joined forces with Virgin. The event was a celebration to promote the new Toronto to San Francisco/Los Angeles route.

The event took place at the stunning Thompson Hotel. On the main level was a red carpet entrance and large bar serving complimentary drinks and various servers providing delicious appetizers and great music. The patio of the Thompson boasts a luxurious view of Toronto that is truly breathtaking.

Party guests included Toronto Twitter influencers and a list of celebrities. The touted A-List included Richard Branson, founder of Virgin, Gilles Marini, star of Sex and the City, Dancing with the Stars and Brothers & Sisters, Cheryl Burke of Dancing with the Stars, comedian Russell Peters, musician Ryan Cabrera and Batman star Eric Roberts. The B-Listers included Mechad Brooks, Brian Burke, Stacey Keibler and JDiggz.

It was great to meet celebrities and awesome Toronto influencers in this wonderful venue. The party is a catalyst to the rapid expansion of Virgin America. Thanks to Klout and Virgin America for making it a truly amazing evening!
