Comedic genius
Judd Apatow is leaving his entourage
behind for controversial actor
Paul Reubens. Better known as Pee-Wee Herman, Reubens has been trying to revive his career
following his 1991 masturbation scandal and 2002 pornography arrest. While the spark has yet to be ignited after his bevy of supporting roles, Judd's involvement has promise. As one of the world's current leading comedy directors, Apatow has proven his ability to turn actors into bona fide celebrities (case in point: Seth Rogen, Jason Segal, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel). The new film should introduce the Pee-Wee character to a new generation while keeping his former fans engaged.
