Toronto's Twinkling Stars

It's the summer of celebrity in Toronto. The city, known for its capability to transform into directors' location of choice, is hosting a gaggle of A-Listers while they film their soon-to-be-blockbusters. Aside from former Dawson's Creek co-stars Katie Holmes (The Kennedys) and Michelle Williams (Take This Waltz), other notable imports include Greg Kinnear (The Kennedys), Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman and Sarah Polley (Take This Waltz), Noah Wyle (Falling Skies), Piper Perabo, Christopher Gorham and Peter Gallagher (Covert Affairs) and Brandon Routh and Anna Kendrick (promoting Scott Pilgrim vs. The World).

While the star power is already at an all-time high, the wattage will only increase once TIFF begins. The Toronto International Film Festival always transforms the city into a more low-key Hollywood, with big names gracing the streets of swanky Yorkville. This year's attendees likely include Bruce Springsteen, Ben Affleck, Michael Sheen, David Schwimmer, Geoffrey Rush, Phllip Seymour Hoffman, Andrew Garfield, Natalie Portman, Freida Pinto, Blake Lively, Dustin Hoffman, Clive Owen and John Hamm.
