We've all fallen victim to bad music. Back in 1999, my vice was Aqua. Yes, that Danish-Norwegian dance pop-group with hits like Barbie Girl and Dr. Jones. Why did I fall into the Aqua trap? I blame the bar mitzvah circuit. Catchy songs were the deejays bread and butter. What's the best way to get a rowdy group of thirteen year olds to participate in the same dinner-dance event weekend after weekend? Ask them to dance to the made Macarena-style Dr. Jones dance.
