Hollywood's baby boom is producing a bevy of peculiar names. Natalie Portman was first with Aleph, followed by Victoria Beckham with Harper Seven and now Kate Hudson with Bingham.

Call me crazy, but I actually like Harper Seven and Aleph. Blame it on my fascination with British culture (Harper), numerology (Seven is my favorite number) or Hebrew (Aleph), but I actually don't mind those monikers. I have no love for Bingham, though.

Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy was born on Saturday, July 9 and weighed 7lbs 12oz. The baby boy remained nameless until today when his father, muse frontman Matt Bellamy, tweeted his son's moniker to his 85,000+ fans. According to Matt, Bingham is his mother's maiden name and Bing was also the name of Kurt Russell's father. It's nice that they're keeping the name in the family, but I'm still not a fan.  Reminds me of Microsoft's search engine - Bing.

What do you think of the name?
