50 Shades of Casting

The internet has been buzzing over who should play the famed Christian Grey ever since Universal picked up the rights to the hit erotic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey. I have no idea how the director will manage to get all those kinky sex scenes in the film, but if Twilight can figure out how to give birth to a vampire baby then anything is possible.

Back to Fifty Shades. Everyone has been naming possible lead actors. Ian Somerhalder threw his name into the ring, Ryan Gosling has been suggested, but I found the ultimate Mr. Grey.

Meet Colin Egglesfield. He's perfect. He's exactly how I pictured Christian Grey when I read the books. Ah, Colin. This role was made for you.

Now, who should play Anastasia? My picks: Emmy Rossum, Elizabeth Olsen, Lily Collins or Amanda Seyfried

Tea Time with Hugh Grant

My third and fourth favourite Brits are back in America. YouTube sensations Sophia Grace and Rosie made another appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Between singing new Nicki Minaj songs and cracking up the audience, Sophia Grace and Rosie found some time to have tea with Hugh Grant. Watch out for Rosie's joke - it's pretty awesome.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy anniversary to my favourite royal couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince William and Kate Middleton stole my heart years ago. From their whirlwind engagement announcement to the out-of-this-world wedding, the dream honeymoon and the public appearances, it's impossible to ignore these two.

I was recently interviewed by CBC.ca on Kate's image and her public persona. You can check out the article here.

Royal Anniversary (Almost)

photo via usmagazine.com
I still have royal wedding fever. It was nearly one year ago that I woke up in the wee hours to watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton. With her perfect wedding dress, perfect hair and too-swollen knuckles, Kate was radiant as she finally became a princess.

Fast-forward a year and it's clear that Kate was made for the royal life. She's comfortable in front of the camera with a constant smile on her face, she has hair that was made for a princess and she has a killer - yet affordable - wardrobe. Even better? She's accessible. It feels like she could be my best friend. Confession: I have a supersize Will and Kate cardboard cutout at my desk at work. Don't judge.

My royal wedding fever finally had an outlet as I was interviewed by CBC.ca yesterday for an upcoming article on the Duchess of Cambridge. Stay tuned for the link!

All About Schmidt

The secret to the New Girl's success is Schmidt. Played by Max Greenfield, the young professional is eager to climb the social ladder and cement his status as a lady's man. His one-liners are the sole reason I watch the show. Schmidt is the whole trifecta: funny, cute and Jewish. Don't believe me? Watch these videos, then put a dollar in the douchebag jar.

You know what happens. Schmidt happens.

Tupac is Back

Technology really is a beautiful thing.

Tupac Shakur rose from the dead (well, kind of) at this year's Coachella music festival. Using state-of-the-art technology, a Tupac holograph took the stage with Snoop Dogg.

Watch it. I promise - it's worth it.

Lady Marmalade: K Edition

I don't think most families prance around their house singing Lady Marmalade, but it works for reality television's first family. The Kardashian ladies strutted their stuff for the cameras (duh!) and came with... this.

The A List Hits
